Thanks to the movies, the idea of a perfect honeymoon usually involves bright blue sky, sparkling white beaches and beautiful ocean in some far away tropical island. Thanks to Bali, that’s exactly what you can expect and what you’re going to get.
1. Choose your type of accommodation
Bali is sprawling with all kinds of accommodation options. But villas are usually the best option as they offer a great deal of privacy and, even the most modest ones generally include facilities such as fully equipped kitchen and private pools.
Ayodya Resort Bali offers an exclusive honeymoon accommodation in Nusa Dua.
2. Choose the location
Kuta offers many affordable options for people renting honeymoon villas in Bali and it is located not too far from the nightlife and the beach. Although if you have extra budget, you can get a gorgeous semi-serviced villa in posh and more attractive areas like Seminyak, Nusa Dua, Sanur and Ubud.
3. Decide what to do
Of course being on honeymoon means enjoying an exclusive private time with your new spouse. But try to tear yourself away from your honeymoon villa and plan what to do while on the island of the gods. If you choose Kuta as your honeymoon location, expect to roam the beach and enjoy the shopping and restaurant scenes by day, then the clubs by night. Seminyak also has the same things but provides more options including art, boutiques and spas. Ubud is set inland, in a mountainous area, but it’s only a couple drive hours from many beaches and offers arguably the most options including markets, museums, shows, spas and many more.
